SECTION VIII - WINTER STORAGE
DRY LAND STORAGE:
- 1. Well holders must winter store at the club providing the hoist will accommodate their boat, or pay an equal amount, less the blocking fee.
- 2. The dry storage fee rates shall be established by the Board of Directors. The square footage of the boat is determined by the length multiplied by the width.
- 3. Winter storage will be billed by the club on the first working day of November, and will be mailed with the October billing. The storage bill must be paid by December 1st or it will be considered in arrears.
- 4. When a boat is pulled from the water for winter storage, the owner must be present to assist the yardman, unless other arrangements have been made and approved by the Fleet Captain or his representative.
- 5. Boat owners name and MC numbers must be displayed on all boats dry stored. The information must be visible from both sides of the boat weather proofing. Letters must be a minimum of 1 inch tall.
- 6. With the written approval of the Fleet Captain, members of the Inter Lake Yachting Association or an Associated Yacht Club may store their boat at the Wyandotte Yacht Club.
- 7. All boats winter stored must be in the water by May 15 or a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per day will be charged in addition to any summer dockage fee. If boat is not launched by that date a ten-dollar ($10.00) a day fee will be charged for each day until October 1.
- 8. No electrical cords shall be attached to a boat in dry land storage unless attended. The Fleet Captain or his representative will disconnect all cords attached to an electrical outlet.
- 9. When boats are launched in the spring NON WELL HOLDERS will have 72 hours to leave the bay. The Fleet Captain or the Dock Master must approve any variance of this rule.
- 10. Boats winter stored at WYC must have jack stands. WYC ACCEPTS NO LIABILITY FOR JACK STANDS LEFT ON THE PREMISES DURING THE BOATING SEASON. You are expected to remove your jack stands from WYC when your boat is launched. In the event you lose, misplace, or otherwise no longer have your jack stands you will be expected to provide suitable replacements at you own expense.
- 11. WYC does not store boats on cradles. If your cradle is left at WYC, you will be billed $120.00 per year.
- 12. In the event you leave items on WYC property for storage, such as boats on trailers, boat trailers, storage trailers, etc., or any other personal property that does not belong to WYC, you will be billed at the appropriate rate set by the Board of Directors. All boats, trailers, or other watercraft stored on WYC property must be legally registered and insured. Owner MUST furnish proof of ownership, and insurance prior to storage. Absolutely nothing may be on WYC property without consent of the Fleet Captain and Board of Directors.
- 1. The Board of Directors yearly shall set the charge for wet storage of a boat.
- 2. The Board of Directors has set additional rules, conditions, and charges that apply to wet storage or live aboard forth. This information is a separate document, which is applied at the discretion of the Board.
- 3. Wet stored boats will be considered launched on April 1st and all summer dockage fees will be due at that time,
