SECTION VI - PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
- 1. Participation in the club activities is essential and is defined as follows:
- 1.1. WORK HOURS
1.1.1. A minimum of twenty (20) work hours is required of all well holders. Work hours can be received for dock, yard, or club work project as determined by the Fleet Captain and entered in his log. Work hours can be obtained and accumulated by the well holder or his representative. The representative working on behalf of a well holder, must designate the well holder who is to receive the work hour credit, at the time the work is performed.
- 1.1.2. Where the work hour requirement is not met the well holder will be charged an hourly rate for the hours not accumulated during the year, the hourly rate shall be established by the Board of Directors.
- 1.2. PARTICIPATION POINTS
- 1.2.1. A Wyandotte Yacht Club well holder must earn one thousand (1000) points per year by any combination of the following:
- 1.2.1.1. Discretionary spending at the club, i.e., fifty cents ($.50) equals one (1) point. Discretionary spending is considered to be all non-required spending. This excludes initiation fees, dues, dock fees, and general assessments.
- 1.2.2. A journal will be kept for all well holders in which points earned will be recorded and posted so that well holders can gauge their performance and note any discrepancies between club records and their own records.

- 1.3. SUB LEASE
- 1.3.1. Any well holder who does not meet the participation requirement will not be awarded well points for that year. The well holder will be required to make up in cash all shortages in participation spending by the Annual Skipper's Meeting to be allowed to bid the upcoming year. With the approval of the Board of Directors and recommendations of the Dock Committee, the well holder will be placed on sub lease for the following year and must fulfill all requirements or forfeit all well points and well.
