SECTION IV - WELL MAINTENANCE
- 1. Well holders are responsible for the minor repairs to the assigned dock including removal and installation of springboards. The Fleet Captain will notify the well holder of work required. If the repairs are not completed within two (2) weeks, the Fleet Captain may have the repairs completed. If this is required, the Fleet Captain may at his discretion, charge the well holder for the work performed. The present charge is twenty dollars ($20.00) per hour of work performed.
- 2. All line holders are to be uniform and approved by the Dock Committee. Those not approved shall be removed.
- 3. All steps and boarding platforms must be properly constructed and maintained in a safe condition. The needs of both sides of the finger dock must be taken into consideration. If there is a conflict on a boarding platform or steps, the dispute will be reviewed by the Dock Committee for a fair, proper, and reasonable resolution. The decision will be final on the structure it being acceptable, or if removal or modification is required. Should the structure not meet the requirements for construction or not be acceptable the well holder will remove or make modifications as directed. Article 1 of this section shall apply to any necessary work performed at the discretion of the Fleet Captain.
- 4. No additions or modifications can be made to docks without consent of the dock committee.
