Membership Information

Anyone who is 21 years of age or older and interested in joining the Wyandotte Yacht Club must submit an application. The application will be reviewd by the Membership Chairman who will then submit the application to the Board of Directors. An application may be obtained at the Club, from any WYC member or click here.

Wyandotte Yacht Club welcomes all who would be members regardless of sex, race, or religious affiliations.

Not all members of Wyandotte Yacht Club own a boat. Many members have joined the club for the social advantages and the ability to use the facilities of other yacht clubs around the country.

New members may join as either a Regular Member or as a Social Member. Regular members have full rights to all dining and social privileges provided by the club and are subject to a one-time initiation fee, monthly dues and quarterly minimums. Social members have all dining and social privileges provided by the club, shall pay monthly dues but are not subject to an initiation fee and may not bid on a boat well.

Submit a completed membership application and appropriate check to the Membership Chairman or Wyandotte Yacht Club office. If you have problems viewing and printing our application please visit the WYC Download Center where all of our forms and tools for using them are available. A confidential credit report will be drawn. Your application will then be posted for five days so that current members may review it. All confidential information is removed prior to posting your application. The Membership Chairman will then submit your application for membership at the next meeting of the Board of Directors and you will be notified of your membership status by the chairman or Wyandotte Yacht Club office.

If you have any questions, please contact the Wyandotte Yacht Club Membership Chairman at 313-382-5363 or via E-mail.
